D.I.Y - Lace Flares

Found the perfect lace fabric for these - apart from the colour - I WISH THEY WERE BLACK!!!

Wearing aqua jacket from Savers, standard faded black loose tshirt... this one is my favorite, it's an old, perfectly cut Pearl Jam tee (I'm not a fan so the front of this never sees the daylight) and my late grandfather's crucifix.

SWEET! Black would be amazing, but the cream is good as it is!

I think that faded cream looks amazing with the aqua actually! Would be a different story with bleach blanket white....

you could pull anything off! i am im love with these. just last weekend i resurrected a pair of black flair-legged lace pants, they look nowhere as good as these but i was happy to pay a tiny $1 for them. you look a treat, love the blog by the way annie

Can you dye them? Anyway they are great. Kind of remind me of the Ksubi lace jeans (although they were obviously not flared).

Thanks for your comments! I bought them from General Pants, and I'm assuming it's one of their in-house labels because I've never seen the brand anywhere else.

They're better than any other lace leggings I've found, really firm lace, not flimsy like stockings. Definitely worth checking them out!

This is so depressing. The last time I tried to sew, I was just sewing a back patch onto a denim vest. And it ended up wonky! Who the hell is so incompetent they can't sew on a patch?

They look SO good! I think they're perfect with the jacket as well, I agree with what a few other people have said about the cream looking better than black. Maybe when you feel like a change you could dye them

I disagree I think you could rock out both the cream and black alternatives. Such a fantastic idea for a DIY lol.

Anyway wee ramble over :) Hope you're having a wicked day/night! :)

If you don't fancy the cream, dye them? You can pick up some cheap liquid dye in AA, which is usually twenty bucks in Lincraft and stuff. Eight bucks, a bucket of hot water, throw those suckers in for a day later and you have it.
