D.I.Y - Lace Flares
Found the perfect lace fabric for these - apart from the colour - I WISH THEY WERE BLACK!!!
Wearing aqua jacket from Savers, standard faded black loose tshirt... this one is my favorite, it's an old, perfectly cut Pearl Jam tee (I'm not a fan so the front of this never sees the daylight) and my late grandfather's crucifix.

SWEET! Black would be amazing, but the cream is good as it is!
I think that faded cream looks amazing with the aqua actually! Would be a different story with bleach blanket white....
Better than Wasson's kick at the flare if you ask me

Oh no you didn't....these are crazy beautiful. COngrats on owning them and makeing them work so well.

all kinds of amazing
i actually love the cream lace. it works so well for this kind of thing
Wow nadia you look great! I agree with Susie they look so so good that colour- could you dye them in the future?
xx
you could pull anything off! i am im love with these. just last weekend i resurrected a pair of black flair-legged lace pants, they look nowhere as good as these but i was happy to pay a tiny $1 for them. you look a treat, love the blog by the way annie
Can you dye them? Anyway they are great. Kind of remind me of the Ksubi lace jeans (although they were obviously not flared).
Thanks for your comments! I bought them from General Pants, and I'm assuming it's one of their in-house labels because I've never seen the brand anywhere else.
They're better than any other lace leggings I've found, really firm lace, not flimsy like stockings. Definitely worth checking them out!
wtfff I so love you this is amazing. You take DIY to the next level. perfect with that aqua jacket.
this is perfect. haha i can see you swishing the flares on purpose whilst walking down the street. awesome.
Wow, those are amazing!! I can't believe you did them yourself. I love the cream lace paired with the aqua blazer, it's perfect!
That's so amazing! It really looks beautiful, and you made it yourself! wow
AMAZING!!!! I love the flared lace with the aqua top the colors are so perfect!
This is so depressing. The last time I tried to sew, I was just sewing a back patch onto a denim vest. And it ended up wonky! Who the hell is so incompetent they can't sew on a patch?
They look SO good! I think they're perfect with the jacket as well, I agree with what a few other people have said about the cream looking better than black. Maybe when you feel like a change you could dye them
Wow, wow, wow! Amazing!
Woah, those pants are unreal!
aqua suits you terribly great!!
Amazing blazer!

this is epic, I love it, I think I need to do more cream/aqua/black/crucifix combinations, works so well
the aqua and cream lace actually look perfect together...but I do get that you would want black :P
aaaah you are so good at DIY
I should try it too myself.
Really, really good...
xxx,

have to agree that the cream looks a little more 'different and interesting' than if they were black.
im totally in awe of your diy-ness! x
btw, i found a cool book website you might wanna check out, i remember that you had some interesting book titles in the pictures of your flat!
delicious! i love them in cream ( you can see the detailing better). ugh. i want a pair.
ps. i love the styling. so beautiful!
damn you... Ive been so resistent to the apparent resurgent allure of flares up until now. These are amazing.
those are amazing, however i would have to agree that they would be even better in black. wait, isn't just about everything?
hope it's alright, but i featured you on my blog.
xx

!!!!!!!!!!!!! loveeeee, they remind me of those tie dyed bell bottoms that erin wasson was wearing
Wow! Bell Boteoms! It feels like its been eons since I've seen them lol but these lace ones are surprisingly pretty hot haha.
I disagree I think you could rock out both the cream and black alternatives. Such a fantastic idea for a DIY lol.
Anyway wee ramble over :) Hope you're having a wicked day/night! :)

If you don't fancy the cream, dye them? You can pick up some cheap liquid dye in AA, which is usually twenty bucks in Lincraft and stuff. Eight bucks, a bucket of hot water, throw those suckers in for a day later and you have it.
soooo good.
I actually am liking the cream shade.
i WANT those pants. anywhere i could get some??
it bet they feel fucking fantastic when you walk around. . .all that swooshing around your calves!
aarrr those flares are to die for x
you need a tambourine and you're stevie nicks. they're epic, your DIYs rock,
