Garden of Serenity

Just a quick post - off to Sydney tomorrow morning for the Triumph Inspiration Award Australian final on Tuesday! (www.triumphinspirationaward.com) So exciting! Wish I could talk about my concept but just have no time... Working with this much colour and lingerie in general (pattern making and sewing with such small parameters, especially with leather is pretty damn challenging) is really foreign to me but I'm pretty happy with the result! Can't wait to get back to working on my actual collection now. These are some shots I managed to get in at a shoot for The Herald Sun (a Melb newspaper) today. The other design is by Katinka.

i love the color palette.....so the one with the leather grid/detailing is yours....looks fantastic except I would love to see more detail shots, especially of how that bra is constructed and how the leather is netted.

good luck on the competition my friend.

Patternmaking was the bane of my existance during school (which is why I didn't go into design).

I'm confused? Which piece is yours? The one with more pictures I'm assuming. Either way both are fabulous!

Good luck with the competition!

thanks guys, mine is the one that has more pictures of it... the three dimensional huge hip one!

Ji, I think you think the other one's mine? not sure, anyway, bra is constructed like a normal bra, with cradle and underwire etc

ps the grid detailing on Tink's work is out of elastic

ahhhhh I SEE! Your knickers have such a great construction, I love the striped black and white and how it flares out. I hope you win the competition.

Incredible work, and a color palette that is completely inspirational. I'm hypnotized, really...

normally I have kind of an bad feeling about wearing colours but when I look at this it's so bizare like i like that I think I can be wearing them somehow!! expecially the bathing suit on the left!! is it made with the soft bathing suit materiel?

I missed this post when it went up cos of my shitty internet, but WOW I'm so impressed. Amazing work, and so you. I love the Mondrian-esque colour scheme that reminds me of the old SBS TV closed screen (what the hell is that called when a TV station closes for the day and has a stationary screen, anyway it reminds me of the old SBS one) Hope you win xoxo

LOVE IT so Mondrian. great work and good luck! I def agree that Wang's collection isn't that flattering as a whole. . . but there is something i love so much about the top construction on that first jumpsuit
