a short time effect

If you have a look at my collage of things I want from ebay a few posts below, you will notice a pair of really ugly black 90s platform boots. I seriously couldn't believe my eyes when I saw pretty much the exact pair at Savers!! Then I noticed a further 3 pairs of ugly - amazing boots, and before I knew it I got all 4 pairs.

PS: they didn't come with the studded buckled boot attire they are pictured with below, already had them but could only find one of them for the photo!

This 'skirt' is actually a long sleeveless shirt that I've photographed for the blog before. I used a belt and a tacking stitch to make it a skirt for now - kind of like it so perhaps I might make one like it?

today's outfit... shot against the token Melbourne graffiti wall background...
wearing: big black tee from op shop / leather biker jacket from Chatuchak market in Bangkok / 80s leopard print jeans from Shag / Demonia leopard creepers / black leather bag from Camberwell market

I love that look. You look great in a maxi length

Wow 4 pairs all in your size, so lucky. My feet are size 10 and there are hardly any size 10 shoes in op shops, let alone 4 pairs! Maybe they all came from the same person?

ahahah i love how you describe these boots as ugly-amazing. i think they're great! this is how i feel about the boots i bought this weekend (a gnarly pair of yellow python print knee high lace up boots with a 90s-esque heel). i can't believe the looks that were popular when i was in middle school/early high school are coming back. i'm starting to feel old and confused =( i saw strappy reef sandals in a men's fashion magazine and i groaned. i'm not ready for this.

Also... your outfits are amazing! I love it when you do these. They're so different from what everyone else is doing. It's great that you can pull off skinny leopard print pants!

And your hair.. seriously fucking fantastic!

I've been scouring the internet for some boot harnesses for the past three months. I should probably de-lazy myself and go look in actual stores, but I'm struggling to find anything I like that will ship to Australia.

Love the first platformed pair, they're killer.
