How unreal are these? They are by the 27 year old Central Saint Martins (what a surprise) graduate Mark Fast for Spring/Summer '09.
From his site: " Mark knits everything by hand on a domestic knitting machine. His work is formed onto the body as he knits. He is inspired by the endless possibilities of lycra yarns, sculpting areas of tension and areas of volume over the body."
... now, I have never used a domestic knitting machine, but I can imagine it wouldn't be the easiest thing to come up with the amazing and incredibly well executed dresses below. I would love to see this label taken into a whole heap of other directions, not just dresses... imagine the possibilities!!!

Yes! I love these dresses. I don't remember where this shot is from, but I love how happy the model looks... I would be thrilled to be wearing this.

oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! These dresses are the amazing! Its like a beautiful hybrid of Givenchy, Balmain and ALexander Wang and yet it is also totally unique!

Those are totally sick. I have worked with a knitting machine before and if he's really doing it by hand, he had to line up the stitches and move the "carriage" thing for each row...back and forth, back and forth. That shit is impressive!
