On a totally unrelated subject....where's the best place to hit to get tattooed in old Melbourne town? Can you recommend anywhere decent?
get kate at chapel tattoo. sometimes has a waiting list but worth it.
I LOVED YOUR DESIGNS!
You finished with two very awesome looks, the colourful blocks (harlequin-esque?) and the studded one which was WOW.
My only "negative" impression which isn't really: is that there wasn't an exploration in a variety of forms & silhouettes.
Who cares, great looks regardless!
Thanks Joshua... :)
My 'concept' (i hate the word.. so wanky) was that shoe took over the whole outfit.. the garments in essence were attached to the shoes..! each explored different adjustment/decorative footwear techniques.. i understand there is a certain amount of 'expectation' involved in viewing fashion... people expect VOLUME AND SILHOUETTE etc but it is really important to stay true to what you are exploring. Don't wanna just chuck in shit for the sake of it... I guess with my stuff it was about the detailing - Also have to add that my collection isn't really intended for the runway so I can see how a lot of the detailed hand work would have been lost in a runway show
Glad you enjoyed.:)
Wish I could be there. Do a show in London sometime?
